Why, that came from right here! It's actually interesting that some local quarries set aside stone that matches stone used in large projects, just in case replacement stone that matches the original is needed. Such was the case in 2001 after the Pentagon was hit.Marilynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07161819809984951795noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6821404280357387696.post-31318961480705897922010-05-27T14:44:18.655-04:002010-05-27T14:44:18.655-04:00Who needs a rooftop/behind the scenes tour when yo...Who needs a rooftop/behind the scenes tour when you've got Rosie and Mr. H? A few years ago I worked there for a season through the Fall, Christmas, and New Year holidays. That was an experience I'll never forget. At that time they had 2500 employees and I have never worked anywhere with nicer people. Every single person I came in contact with was super kind and considerate. The Cecil family have an excellent reputation in this town for having an excellent operation in every way.Rocquiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12901113928128687345noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6821404280357387696.post-64062074904022380372010-05-26T20:41:32.635-04:002010-05-26T20:41:32.635-04:00Great history lesson!Great history lesson!Kathyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10121410794715290579noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6821404280357387696.post-25795323078961588632010-05-26T20:28:16.122-04:002010-05-26T20:28:16.122-04:00i am so happy that i checked back with your blog. ...i am so happy that i checked back with your blog. you made it to the biltmore! so happy for you. so many sights and sounds, must have had sensory overload. i looked at your pictures four times now. about time i checked into my own trip them myself.
thanks for sharing your life with us, once again!
rebeccarebeccahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13895807077929177203noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6821404280357387696.post-32377344871914939202010-05-26T17:06:38.769-04:002010-05-26T17:06:38.769-04:00dle, To see the gargoyles you'll need to take...dle, To see the gargoyles you'll need to take the Rooftop Tour.
