Mr. Hawthorne and I bought some heirloom tomatoes
at Harris Teeter back in January.

I Love My Feedjit.
Have I ever told you,
"I LOVE MY FEEDJIT"
?
Just checked it and found this:
Hayward, California arrived from google.com on "Kitchens Are Monkey Business: Our Heirloom Tomato Seedlings." by searching for tomato chicken manure eggshells.
23:40:41 -- 15 minutes ago
Someone actually Googled
tomato chicken manure eggshells
and got to my blog.
WHOOT!
And check out this one:
Google is a wonderful thing.
So is my Feedjit.
I love my Feedjit.
London arrived from google.co.uk on "Kitchens Are Monkey Business: Happy Birthday, Rabbie Burns!" by searching for ox bung.

A Bit Of Precipitation On The Outer Banks.
I worked for about an hour or so
this morning, happily planting seeds in the
egg cartons I get from Harris Teeter
(with 30 eggs for $2.87).
These are clear plastic cartons and have lids
so they're like little miniature green houses.
I got the last one out on the deck,
feeling very proud of myself for getting one
more thing crossed off my to-do list.
It got really dark, the wind picked up,
so I headed back outside to bring my little greenhouses inside.
As I opened the slider,
there was a flash of lightening
and a huge crash of thunder -
simultaneously I might add.
So I retreated back in the house.
Too late.
A big ol' gust of wind lifted up three of my little greenhouses
and deposited them in the yard next door.
Curses.
Then we had a bit of precipitation.
Thank goodness I hadn't put
our heirloom tomato seedlings outside.
Mr. Hawthorne would not have been pleased.
I'd probably have to go into the
Witness Protection Program
if I'd caused any injury or death
to those damn tomato plants.
Mama and Sister Hawthornes,
when you click on the links below,
click on the blue "Full Size" tab
when Photobucket comes up.
After clicking on "Full Size,"
go to the top right of the new screen
and click the middle button
to maximize the screen.
Got it?
Unfortunately, Blogger is no longer
uploading videos and I had to find a new service.
I'm not sure I'm all that crazy about Photobucket,
so if anybody has a favorite video uploader,
please let me know.
See here.

And here.
Actually I did not like this turn of events.
