There are freakin' UNDERGROUND homes
on the outskirts of Taos.
This is the view going across the huge bridge
spanning this amazing gulch -
the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge.
The bridge is 650 feet above the Rio Brande
and is the fifth highest bridge in the United States.
The span is 1280 feet:
two 300 foot approach spans
with a 600 foot long main center span.
