Our first view of the Arch was coming over a bridge
to the St. Louis waterfront.
It rises majestically into the sky.
Passengers going to the top of the Arch
are herded into these tiny pods.
Five people in a pod.
Cozy.
It takes about 4 minutes to get to the top.
We disembark and stay as long as we want at the top
to shoot pictures.
We found this charming couple posing at the 630-ft summit.
