Bathroom Is Done!

Welcome to my new bathroom.
Now I need to go buy new towels. It's beautiful.
Thank you, Matt. Creative Touch Tile. Compare this to that.

  1. LOVE IT! favorite part: the smooth sandstone rectangle on the floor. I'm glad you got a white toilet - that's different. I can't wait to walk on the floor!

  2. Whoot! And a double snap around the back! It is truly beautiful! Thanks for sharing it with us Rosie. One question, was it a smooth ride? We're thinking of remodeling our bathroom (will still have another one to use), and I'm wondering about the unexpected, since we all know to expect it. Any suggestions on how to avoid additional stress? And no, we can't move out until the project is complete. :)

  3. It was a very smooth ride and no stress was involved, Anony. And I've gone through major renovations before.

First you find the right person to do it and then you
need to trust the person who's overseeing the project.
Then stay out of it. Let them do what they do.

We told Matt not to start until EVERYTHING was in place and ready to go. We wanted the toilet, the vanity, the medicine cabinet, all fixtures, all tile, every pebble somewhere in a storage place within miles of me, ready to be installed.

    NO downtime.

We wanted somebody doing something on the job site EVERYDAY. And they were.

    Have everything lined up.

  4. The bathroom is gorgeous. I love the pebbled floor and the tile. The wall color, while it may have been expensive, looks awesome. The glass tiles look beautiful. Well done!

  12. Just beautiful. I love the choices you made especially the glass tiles. Is that a toto commode?

  13. Kadywood, I'd never heard of Toto toilets, but when I googled it, it does resemble it. Mine is a Mirabelle from Ferguson's.

  14. Bravo Rosie and Mr. H! Love the darker cabinetry and the tile and the fixtures and the perfectly coordinated candle. Will it be on the OBX Parade of Homes?
