Rosie's March Garden.

It's spring.
The ospreys are back!
Still don't have pictures of those beautiful birds,
but I can hear their squawks and peeps
and I see them soaring and circling in the thermals.

I woke up today to a cloudy, gray, rainy day.
There's a saying on the Outer Banks:
"If you don't like the weather,
wait ten minutes."

See what happened within a few hours today.

Anyhoo/how, the day brightened to anemones.

And hyacinths.

And jonquils.

And stock.

Stock comes in all different colors.

The stock are all volunteers.

And a little sumpin' sumpin' I forget.

Mar?
Hep me here?
You've told me before what it is and I forgot.
It was in a wildflower packet I threw out years ago.
It has interesting petals.

I floves me some aneomones.

Pink shamrocks are looking good.

Carnations are clovey.

Oh lookey.
There's some cilantro coming up next to the carnations.

Pretty vinca.

Iberis or candy tuft.

Ice plant, or delosperma.

Anemone.

Our high today was 33. With wind chill i the 20's. I'm a hearty Yankee. But I cry UNCLE.

Well, I don't need to SHARE the misery. Just want mine to END!
