Youngest Hawthorne Requests Cinnamon Oatmeal Raisin Cookies.

Youngest Hawthorne made a request this afternoon, so Rosie had to oblige.
He wanted cinnamon oatmeal raisin cookies.

I got a horse in this race.
I got a dog in this fight.
I got a plum in this pie.
You got the picture.
Rosie wants cookies.
What Rosie wants, Rosie gets.

Cinnamon Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

In a medium bowl, whisk and set aside:
1 cup flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp kosher salt

In the bowl of a mixer, mix on medium speed until light and fluffy:
1 stick unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla

Stir in:
flour mixture
1 cup oatmeal
1/2 cup raisins

Drop by heaping teaspoons onto ungreased baking sheet.
Bake at 350° for 10-13 minutes, until lightly browned.

Cool on baking sheets for a minute, then transfer to rack and cool.  If you can.
