The Hawthornes left the Grand Canyon
and headed for Vegas.

We're at Hoover Dam.
Mr. Hawthorne is in and out.
No stopping.
I wanted to park and walk up on the bridge
and take pics of the view,
but Mr. H. wasn't into it.
Lake Mead.
On the Colorado River about 25 miles from Vegas.
Formed by the Hoover Dam, this lake is the largest reservoir,
in terms of water capacity, in the US.
It serves water to Arizona, California, and Nevada.
And there's Vegas.
