The other afternoon
I went to pick some vegetables and flowers
in the garden.
Mr. Hawthorne had spent the most part of the afternoon
de-heading and shelling 10 pounds of shrimp
The shrimp coming in now are quite large
and we always stock up in late summer,
before any hurricanes blow through and screw up the shrimping.
when I came back inside
our dinner was ready.
Shrimp, carrots, onions, and peppers
in a sweet hot chili sauce.
Just the right amount of heat and sweet.
I have trained him well.
