October 13. The Hawthornes Are In Cherokee, North Carolina,

The Hawthornes took a short trip the first two weeks in October.
This is from October 13, when we were in Cherokee, North Carolina.

Check out another video of the dancing.

Enjoy the scenery
as the Hawthornes hit the road again.

I so wanted to eat in this town,
the name of which I forget.
One of its restaurants was listed in Our State magazine
for the place to eat in whatever county
of North Carolina's 100 finest.
Unfortunately, they were having their annual
Fall Festival on Main Street in this particular town that day..
There was impossible parking
and when we finally got to the restaurant,
we were told we'd have a 1 1/2 hour wait.
No thank you.

Pretty, pretty.

Ya know, there ain't many things prettier than the mountains of NC in the Fall. Have fun Rosie! Hugs to Mr. H.
