I have an ongoing project:
I have resolved to clean something once a week.
I like to keep the bar low
so I can be successful at my modest endeavors.
And this is working for me.
Two weeks ago, I cleaned out a very important junk drawer.
Last week I cleaned out the cabinets
above my computer desk
and loaded in a bunch of cookbooks
that I had strewn about the living room.
Today, I cleaned out my refrigerator.
It is now pristine.
Next week, who knows?
I may clean out a closet!
And now,
I'm having that champagne.
Life is good.
Cleaning the refrigerator is one of my very, very, very LEAST favorite things to do in the world.
ReplyDeleteSame here, Lea. But I had to clean the old crap out so I could go buy new crap to put back in.
ReplyDeleteMine just gets FILTHY. I'm not sure what that says about my housekeeping skills. It does look awfully pretty when I'm done.
ReplyDeleteI hear you, Lea. I had some really nasty stuff to clean up in there. Notice I didn't bother with a "before" picture.
ReplyDeleteI would not admit this to just anyone, but last time I cleaned out my refrigerator, there was a bowl in the back of the bottom shelf containing something totally unrecognizable.
ReplyDeleteTortietat, I hate it when that happens. And I must admit, sometimes I throw out the tupperware container too. I'm scared to open it. (I have a very easy gag reflex.)
ReplyDeleteBeen there, done that!!
