Thursday morning,
we woke up to SNOW!
We got about 4 -5 inches of the white stuff
so Rosie is quite a happy camper.
Dixie doesn't quite know what to think about this.
Mr. Hawthorne took the opportunity to make snow cream.
First, get a big bowl of snow.
Add a little heavy cream
and vanilla to a bowl ...
... and start a-beating.
Mr. Hawthorne uses Splenda
which explains his girlish figure.
Next, he switched to the whisk attachment,
added in the snow ...
... and whisked away.
And we have snow cream.
Delicious.
Wonderful texture.
