Back To The Food.


You know I didn't spend all my time in Danville walking the River Walk trail or greeting chartered jets or shooting pictures of historic buildings being demolished.
I spent a bit of time cooking too.
Who'd a thunk?

First off, Saturday night dinner with Maxine.

Maxine always sets a lovely table.






Maxine seasoned wahoo fillets with salt and pepper, butter, lemon juice, basil, and wine, then wrapped them in foil to bake.

I sauteed sliced mushrooms and added them to the wild rice, then sauteed some veggies I'd brought from home - squash, peppers, cucumbers, green onions, tomatoes, jalapeno, and cilantro.


Quite a tasty meal.
