Middle Hawthorne left to take Beau "for a run" just before dinner was ready.
I believe that was around 6 o' clock.
He returned home about 12 o' clock.
Must have been a hell of a run.
"You hungry?"
"Yeah."

So here's dinner for MH.
A chicken leg (He loves the dark meat.), some breast slices,
mashed potatoes, and blue cheese souffle.
I added some gazpacho from the other night, along with some reduced Balsamic vinegar on top of the chicken.
Now, I was wondering about the blue cheese souffle. Most kids don't like blue cheese.
I told him the souffle had blue cheese in it which was on the bottom, and try it and see if you like it. I love the fact that my children will try foods. If they don't like them, fine. At least they tried. It's not like I'm trying to disguise food and force protein into the little dears, like some people we all know and love.
He ate EVERYTHING.
Rosie can go to bed and sleep well,
knowing in her heart that she nourished her child.
Although she's still pissed that MH and his buddies pulled into the kitchen in the middle of last night and
ATE ALL MY DAMN PASTRIES!!!!!!
The Cherry/Berry Galette and the Cherry/Strawberry Pie.
Crap.
Damn kids.
