I'm happy to report that Rosie and Mr. Hawthorne are safely back at home.
We arrived about an hour ago, and boy, does it feel good to be back.
Had nice visits with Middle Hawthorne in Greensboro, with Mama Hawthorne, Brother and Sister Hawthorne, and Maxine in Danville, and with Daughter Hawthorne in Greenville.
Dixie was so glad to have us back home.
She did her happy dance for us upon our arrival.

Hey, Eff-you Auntie Rosie! I know we had a rather uneventful lunch, and I also know you are always too busy to actually come to my home and grace my door step. I am forced to meet you in the nearest town for the chinese buffet if I want to see my dear aunt, but not even mentioning our brief visit cuts me deep.
You'd think I was living in another country, not just out in the country.
Oh, and thanks again for delivering the seafood.
Hello, bitchmaskatie, nice to hear from you too. We didn't get home last night until after 8, after spending wonderful "quality" time with Daughter Hawthorne, running to furniture stores to buy a bed and chest of drawers for Youngest Hawthorne. Such fun.
