May 22, 2012. The Hawthornes Are On The Way To Taos, New Mexico.

 Enjoy the scenery 

as the Hawthornes travel to Taos, New Mexico,

through Carlson National Forest.

 Elevation here is 2 miles plus.

 I'm sure this mountain has a name,

but I don't know what it is.

Views are lovely.

 Beautiful green colors we're finally seeing.

And yes, that's snow at the edge of the woods.

It's so nice to see green now.
