I'm uploading a video from May 9, 2012.
I've saved this video,
because it speaks volumes to me.
Mr. Hawthorne and I have had so
many less than stellar meals during our trip.

This video shows leftover Chinese takeout
which Mr. Hawthorne graciously nuked for me -
nuked leftovers that I was freakin' grateful for,
nuked leftovers that I was freakin' grateful for,
since they were actually good.
At a hotel room I don't know where,
but it could have been anywhere.

This video also shows our homesickness.
Poor Mr. Hawthorne.
He just wants to cook a damn meal.
And nuking is the closest thing.
That's kinda sad.

Heh.
We can't wait to get home and cook once again.
Maybe on your next great road trip you should pack a mini propane grill so you can occasionally cook real food?
ReplyDeleteDon't think that would work. Only if we had an outdoor exit to ... outdoors.
ReplyDeleteMost of the time, our egress is through an interior hallway.
