What's cooking today, Rosie? I love to hear about people's traditional "lucky" foods.I have pork butt, sauerkraut, and kielbasa going...smells so good. And Happy New Year to you, too!
Black eye peas and cornbread sticks, Lea.I'd go outside and pick some greens but it's cold and raining.
We have 6 inches of snow...no greens here.
I want snow!!!!!Lea, I broke down and went out and picked kale, mustard greens, beet greens, turnip greens. Washed 'em off and they're drying on towels now. I'll toss them in oil and spread out on a baking sheet and bake until crisp. Then salt after crisping.
