    Linux is the open source version of windows OS. Don't you miss dos sometime?

    Yes, linix is an operating system for your computer. So you can ditch Windows. Linux is much more stable and reliable. And free.

    My son, the computer whiz in the family, swears by linux. He hates Windows with a passion. But then again, he programs for a living, so he knows all about these things.
