Rosie Puts A Spin On Green Beans.

The Hawthornes have been enjoying clementines lately
and I wanted to incorporate them with a green bean dish.

Thank you, Glowria,
for the lovely serving dishes!

 Green Beans With Clementine Dressing
1/2 lb. green beans  (2 cups)
zest and juice of 2 clementines
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1 TB minced shallot
sea salt, to taste
1/3 cup pecans, toasted and chopped

Mix clementine juice and zest, mustard, shallot, and salt.
Set aside.
Steam beans until barely tender, about 5 minutes.
Transfer beans to serving dish and add a few pats of butter.
Drizzle with clementine dressing.
Sprinkle pecans over top.
Toss to coat.

Fresh, green, citrusy, clementiney, nutty!
I loved this.
