Outer Banks Taste Of The Beach At Lucky 12 Tavern.

First Post About Lucky Twelve Tavern, Nags Head, NC.
If you have kept up in my blog with me for some time, you'd know I love this restaurant - Lucky Twelve Tavern. We are long time devotees of Lucky 12 - because of the good food, the ambiance, and the fact that the owner takes the time to come out and greet us and squat at our table and talk to us. You make us feel SPECIAL, and, GoshDarn, I like to feel special. Thank you, Mark, and BJ, for always making us feel welcome and we are honored to be so welcomed in your establishment. And thank you Bret (Or is it Brett?) for keeping the Diet Coke coming.
Right now, I'm on a mission - a mission to show you what oysters are all about. But sorry, you're going to have to wait. For yet another post. Today, Mr. Hawthorne and I went to Lucky Twelve Tavern
for an oyster feast. Last year, this was our favorite venue at the Taste of the Beach and, yes, it was wonderful again this afternoon. I'm just putting in a teaser here. I took so many pics at the Taste of the Beach event at Lucky Twelve. I need to show just one picture that reminds me of Lucky Twelve. It's the epitome for me of Lucky Twelve. I think this is a beautiful photograph. This is it :
The intricate artistry of the tats against the angst of the flame. Plus the plus of ersters. Thanks, BJ. That's poetry, man.
And I think it's one of those dream photographs that I love. Maybe nobody else. Just me.
