Mr. Hawthorne Makes Moreover Lunch.

Remember, the Hawthornes do not have "leftovers." We have "moreovers."
And Mr. Hawthorne is doing the honors today.
After a scan of the refrigerator contents, Mr. Hawthorne pulled out some of those cute little peppers, some of his Spanish rice, some of my pork adovado mixture, some red onion, tomatillo salsa verde, and whole wheat tortilla wraps, Kathy.
These are sweet peppers, not hot. And I like their size.
Mr. Hawthorne cut of the ends and cleaned out the seeds.
He thinly sliced the peppers and some red onion.
Peppers and onions are sliced and ready. In the background, from left to right, tomatillo salsa, Spanish rice, and spicy pork and pineapple. Note: Rosie would have made her own Spanish rice, but Mr. Hawthorne likes to Semi-Ho his meals.
Mr. Hawthorne builds his wraps. First some red onion and pepper slices.
Spicy pork and pineapple.
Spanish rice. I like that fork action!
Tomatillo salsa verde.
Shredded cheese.
Roll up, add more cheese, and nuke if you're in a hurry.
I added a little sour cream, chopped red onion and pepper, and cilantro.
Thank you, Mr. Hawthorne. Stay tuned for our Moreover Supper.

Rosie, you're going to have to quit this healthful TexMex stuff - Bobby Burn's birthday (and others) this week. Need a recipe for Scottish eggs? Deep fried Mars Bars? I know you have the haggis under control.

Rosie, if you do that haggis crap again, I will hurt you. I have a friend who loves haggis, but everyone has his faults.

Yeah, that haggis is not for me. Kind of made me sick. I hope your "pesky surgery" goes well and that you're up and cooking some pretty food (not haggis) in no time.
