Rosie Takes Care Of The Rest Of The Puff Pastry.

I took a trip to Food Lion this morning to get a few items - OK - $153 worth. The sun was shining when I went in. When I came out, it was pouring - the first band from Tropical Storm Hannah. They were actually putting up the storm shutters at Food Lion.
Staples, next door, also put up their storm shutters. Then I had to go to the gas station to fill up my gas can just in case I need to use the generator. Did I mention it was pouring down raining? Nothing better than water dripping off your head, soaking wet clothes, and sitting on leather seats in an air conditioned vehicle.
I hate driving in downpours. Crap. Here's a wreck about 2 miles from home.
I don't think anyone was hurt, thankfully. OK, enough about my morning. Let's get to my appetizers for dinner.
In the little bowl in the front is my leftover crab meat and shrimp from last night, without the cream sauce. Then I have some green onions, red onion, Tamari soy sauce, and cream cheese.
I softened the cream cheese and added minced red and green onions.
A bit of soy sauce.
Then I decided to add in just a tiny bit of sesame oil. Whenever you use sesame oil, please use it sparingly. A little bit goes a looooong way.
I took the rest of my puff pastry and rolled it out.
Sliced into nice squares.
Added the crab meat mixture to the cream cheese.
Placed a spoonful on each puff pastry square.
Wet edges.
Sealed and crimped with fork.
Popped into hot oil.
And fried until nicely browned.
Drained on paper towels.
Serve with hot mustard, duck sauce, and whatever other sauce is in those little packages you get at the Chinese restaurants.
My version of Crab Rangoon. And it was gooooooood. Crispy crunchy yumminess outside. Creamy crabby shrimpy goodness inside.
