The Rosiethon. Day 2. Maple Walnut Fudge.

 
I'm making Maple Walnut Fudge today.



 Maple Walnut Fudge
2 cups packed brown sugar
5 oz. can evaporated milk
2 sticks unsalted butter
2 cups powdered sugar
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp maple extract

Butter a 9x13-inch pan.
In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, butter, and milk.  Bring to a boil over medium heat.  Reduce heat slightly and boil 10 minutes, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat and add powdered sugar, vanilla, and maple.  Mix thoroughly with hand mixer on medium until thick and glossy.  Fold in walnuts, pour into prepared pan, and spread evenly.  Refrigerate until set.

  
 Ten minutes, stirring constantly.
