Remodeling can be a good thing.

Well, I must say, there can be an up side to remodeling.

Take a look here:



This is water damage to the subfloor from the refrigerator. I didn't even know it was leaking. There was never any water on the tile.


And here:



This is water damage underneath the kitchen sink. Again, I had no idea.


Now, here's the scariest part:




These are wires above the ceiling in the kitchen which have been EATEN THROUGH BY MICE!!! I can only hope the damage to the wires is contained in the kitchen since that's where all the food is for these critters. After this, I've decided to get fire extinguishers for every room in the house.
