Mr. Hawthorne has been happily making
his Salsa Ranchero throughout the summer
using fresh tomatoes and peppers from the garden.
He's even canned it so we can enjoy summer
during the winter.
For a quick and easy, light and flavorful lunch,
Mr. Hawthorne cooked up some yolk-less pasta
and topped it with a fresh batch of his Salsa Ranchero
then gave it a little juge of grated Parmesan.
Where did the "juge" come from?
Sadly, Oprah's on in background
and Carson Kressley is on.
Yes, this is still a food blog,
though sometimes those pesky hurricanes get in the way.
