Good Neighbors.

Mr. Hawthorne and I ordered three different types of bamboo.
I planted them today alongside the fence between Frank-the-you-know-what and me.
Here's the first batch.

I'm going to get in there and weed and mulch everything later.

Here's the second batch.

And here's the third.
If you look closely to the left, Good Neighbor Frank's sprinkler system just came on and the wind is blowing just in the right direction, so Frank is watering my bamboo.
Heh heh heh.

These bamboo are supposed to get 50-75 feet tall.

And I certainly hope they're the invasive type.

Good fences make good neighbors.
And bamboo certainly can't hurt.

Too bad I can't find any kudzu.
But I do have the next best thing:
my passion flower vine.
When it starts coming up in my yard, I will transplant it next to the fence. Frank won't know what hit him.
It spreads by underground thingies and comes up EVERYWHERE.
