I was very excited this morning.
Upon returning home after running the dogs,
I noticed a tiny red jewel
on a volunteer tomato plant in the mulch
next to the end of my driveway.
My very first tomato.
Mr. Hawthorne and I shared it.
The first tomato of the season.
Dripping with summery goodness.
