The Hawthornes traveled to Cherokee yesterday
and stayed the night.
This morning, we decided to take a break from driving
and "getting somewhere" and "seeing something"
plus its a gray, damp, drizzly day,
so we're taking a day off and staying in Cherokee.
When the weather moves out,
we'll move out.
I've been on the Internet to see what's around
and I've found a few more waterfalls.
The Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest is nearby
and our original "git to" point - Cherohala Skyway,
which connects Robbinsville and Tellico Plains,
is right down the road.
We just want the weather to be nicer
before continuing.
I'm very excited about this finding:

I'm signing Mr. Hawthorne up for this STAT!
ETA: I've just booked a yurt for Mr. Hawthorne!
Rosie, Rosie, you know and I know this is just a ruse to go eat at Pauler's. (BTW, isn't she awfully photoshopped these days? Looks awfully thin in the face.) Anyway, let us all know what it's like.
