October 8, 2010,
was a very busy day for the Hawthornes.
First we saw seals in the Pacific Ocean.
We drove down the Oregon Coast
and it was gray, dismal, desolate, damp,
forbidding, dangerous, and beautiful.
For a nice lunch,
we ate at Bridgewaters Ocean Fish House,
in Florence, Oregon.
After lunch,
we had another scenic drive down the Oregon Coast.
We made it to Gold Beach, Oregon,
and had dinner at Nor'wester Steak and Seafood.
Enjoyed chatting with the lovely Jennifer,
our wonderful waitress.
That evening in Gold Beach, Oregon,
I did not witness the sunset.
The End.
