The Aftermath of Birth - The Afterbirth.

Here's Chicky Wicky just minutes after giving birth.

Sadly, Chicky Wicky died during child birth. So I swathed her in butter and sesame oil and sprinkled on some Garam Masala.

From top left, clockwise, here's some spinach, Arborio rice, dried tomatoes, chicken liver, green onion, and celery.

I chopped the chicken liver on the left, then on the right I have chopped spinach, celery and green onion. And I poured hot water on the sun-dried tomatoes.

I melted some butter and sauteed the giblets.

Added in the Arborio rice.

I added some wine for the rice to soak up.

Added in some chicken stock and let the rice soak it up.

I added in the chopped sun-dried tomatoes.

Getting ready to add in the spinach, green onions, and celery.

Mr. Hawthorne suggested adding some pine nuts.

Mr. Hawthorne also suggested adding in sliced apples.
Good ideas, DH.

Here's the perfectly cooked Chicky-Wicky.

When Mr. Hawthorne walked in tonight, he took a sniff and asked, "Indian?"
He recognized the powerful aroma of the
Garam Masala on the chicken.

A spoonful of lovely goodness.

Chicken and Risotto.
Sublime.
