Rosie's Diner.

Well, let's see, it's 10:42 PM and Rosie's Diner is still open.
No wonder all my children's friends like it so much over here.

Youngest Hawthorne just came in and ate the delicious chili I made tonight, which I will blog, step by step, tomorrow.
(Just too much of an effort to do tonight.)

And he wanted a smoothie.

What can I say?
I'm a sucker for smoothies.

YH picked out his fruits.

Here they are:
Top - strawberries
Bottom, left to right - oranges, pineapple, and peaches.

I know, I know, you can tell what they are,
but I have this running commentary thingie that I must do.

First, I put all the fruits in the Magic Bullet and whupped 'em up.
Along with the leftover peach and pineapple jooses.
That's the pinkish orange puree you see at the top.
Then I added ice cubes, a tiny teeny bit of sugar, and about a tablespoon of heavy cream.
Whupped it up again.

There it is.
In it's icy, luscious, fruity, glorious glory.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you ... the Smoothie.
Rosie's Smoothie.
YH had two glasses.
