I just double-clicked to enlarge this picture and noticed that poor little Hawthornelet is all choked up about leaving home.
Hope he doesn't get too homesick.

If you think it is sad when they go off to college, just wait for the unmitigated joy when they come home 8 years later (not quite all of them spent as a student). But I have to say this. He lined up the bags of yard waste in a very neat row for garbage day tomorrow. Tuition money well-spent, that's what I say.
