If you recall, last night, Mr. Hawthorne refused to even TRY my apple-blue cheese-walnut extravaganza.
Whine. Whine. Whine.
"I don't like blue cheese and sweet stuff."
"Well, try this, please."
"NO!"
I proceeded to make up this dish for Mr. H.
His response:
"I'm surprised that you would go to the effort and try and do this recipe right now just because I don't like it.
It must be a very simple recipe."
(Italics mine.)
Well, yeah, it is a very simple recipe.
Sometimes, simple is better.
Damn fool wouldn't even taste this.
Good for me.
I ate it for lunch today.
