Mr. Hawthorne and I are leaving for a few days to help all the little Hawthornelets get settled in their new digs.
Rosie will also be making two virtual cheesecakes a reality for two lucky birthday girls,
Xmaskatie, and Daughter Hawthorne.
Now, I'm all packed and ready to go.
The laundry's done.
The house is clean.
I've loaded up the truck.
Been baking since seven.
Where's Mr. Hawthorne?
Oh, in bed watching his Sunday morning movie.
It doesn't matter what it is.
It doesn't matter how stupid it is.
In fact, the stupider the better.
Did you know that one's brain is more active during sleep than it is while watching TV?
He's on no schedule whatsoever.
I, however, am on his schedule.
And I do not like that.
Oh great.
Now he's gone out to the pool for an hour or two.
It's 12:37 and I wanted to have lunch at the Chinese restaurant in Plymouth.
Drats.

Have fun and take care!
ReplyDeleteThanks Auntie! The cheesecake was divine, and having you deliver it was the spun sugar on the cake!
