Avalon Pier was the place
to be this afternoon.
Check out their piercam.
I stayed in the parking lot, though.
Didn't want to walk out on the pier where waves
were actually crashing.
The picture quality deteriorates
as salt water and foam
get to my camera.
Hopefully, no permanent damage.
A few brave, albeit foolhardy souls,
ventured out on the pier.
If you look closely,
that's a water heater in the surf.
