Here's Kermit (Bob Tuschman)'s blog.
Right here.
Where he actually said this:
OK, OK, we heard you! Despite Melissa’s win, there are still a lot of Jeffrey fans out there. As I’ve always said, Jeffrey is bursting with knowledge he wants to share. You wanted more and Jeffrey was game, so we produced web-exclusive videos based on Jeffrey’s pilot episode. Presenting: The Spice Smuggler.
Jeffrey Saad takes you on a journey with Anise seed spice, Paprika, Garam Masala and Five Spice powder. He takes spices off the rack and brings them center stage. And as always, Jeffrey makes you need to taste the food.
Enjoy a little more Jeffrey Saad, and let us know what you think.
The damn link on Kermit's blog
for The Spice Smuggler doesn't work.
It doesn't take you to the videos of Jeffrey.
It takes you to Melissa.
Good thing I watched them when they did work
and I took notes.
I wanted Jeffrey to win.
He actually had an interesting premise:
Get a spice.
Learn it.
Use it.
And he was knowledgeable.
And he could cook.
Well, right there are three strikes
against him.
Damn Food Network!
Edited to add: The Spice Smuggler.
Thanks, Mar, for the link.
And that would be Marilyn
of Foodies Untie blog fame.
And yes, Mar, I should've known
the crack monkeys doing Food Network's
website would screw it up.
You should know better than to trust FN's web links, Rosie.

I googled "the spice smuggler" to find this.
You are welcome, dear.
ReplyDeleteI often just google what I want rather than trying to navigate the land mines in that web site.
