The Hawthornes Visit Dry Falls, Between Franklin And Highlands, In the Cullasaja River Gorge.

Between Franklin and Highlands, we traveled the Mountain Waters Scenic Byway, continuing our meandering ascent along the path of the Cullasaja River, between towering cliffs and through forests of maple, hemlock, and pine. We stopped at Dry Falls.
We descended the stone steps until we reached Dry Falls.
If you look closely, you can see a small trail that tunnels under the 75-foot falls.
I'm getting ready to go underneath the waterfall.
You can stand behind the falls and look out through the cascading water.
Enjoy the videos taken from behind the falls.

Pretty. I'll have to remember that place if we are ever in that area.
