The Reports Of My Death Are Greatly Exaggerated.

I just Googled "Rosie Hawthorne" and found the obituary for Rosie Hawthorne. Again, here. And here: Cady, Rosie Hawthorne Rosie Hawthorne Cady, 80, of Beaumont died November 23, 1996 at St. Elizabeth Hospital. Funeral was held Monday, November 25 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home with burial in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. A native of Kirbyville, she lived in Beaumont 58 years and was a retired cafeteria worker for Beaumont school district. Survivors include daughters, Mary Lee young of Vidor, and Carlene Weikel of Beaumont; sister, Annie Wilson of Evadale; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. Oh wait. I survived: Wigley, William Earl William Earl Wigley, 86, of Newton died Wednesday, December 12, 1990 at Shady Acres Nursing Home in Newton. A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. today at Olds Cemetery in Jasper under the direction of Forest Oaks Funeral Home in Jasper. A lifelong resident of Newton, he was a self-employed farmer. Survivors include his wife, Ruth Wigley of Newton; a brother, Hampy Wigley of Cleveland, Texas; and a sister, Rosie Hawthorne of Newton. Don't worry. I'm still alive and kicking. Rest in peace, Mizzes Rosies. Laus Deo.
