Oyster Lunch.

Today's lunch: steamed oysters.
All you need is some melted butter and lemon juice and a sinus-electrifying cocktail sauce. Ketchup (1/2 cup) Horseradish (2-3 TB) Worcestershire Sauce (1 TB) Lemon Juice (1 TB) Those are my suggested amounts, but like I said, I like my sinuses reamed.
So simple and so delicious.
The oceany goodness of an oyster is something to behold. And if you look closely, you'll see a little baby crab tucked in the folds of the oyster. That's the pinkish thing on the left side, middle of oyster.
I can't put my finger on it, but for some reason, I'm reminded of an episode of Everybody Loves Raymond, in which Marie takes an art class and creates an abstract sculpture for Raymond.

HaHa! You are so right about the Everybody Loves Raymond episode!

I have eaten my share of Oysters over the last 6 weeks since I have been down here in SNH. (Cannot easily get these fresh oysters in NJ.) My problem is I cannot for the life of my shuck them raw. I always have to put them in the oven until they pop open. While I like them that way too, I would love to eat some of them raw. Oh well...
