Here's The Cake I Made For Daughter Hawthorne's Birthday.

Twenty five years ago, at 6:42 on a late, lazy Sunday afternoon, I gave birth to my first born - Daughter Hawthorne. A few huffs and puffs and there she was. A perfect child. Ten toes. Ten fingers.
Tonight, in honor of Daughter Hawthorne I give you fireworks.
Cheesecake with a ginger snap/graham cracker crust. Chocolate leaves. Slices of strawberries. And the caramel. Spun gold.
Just enjoy how we made this.
Caramel is wonderful.
Wish I had some daylight. These pics could have been wonderful.

I like it in the nighttime house lights. Twinkles like a Christmas tree. I think maybe I changed me mind about the chocolate cake....
