Welcome folks,
to the annual Colington Harbour
Christmas Boat Parade.
This is sad.
In previous years,
I've seen as many as 30 plus boats
participating.
This year?
Four.
But, here they are
for your viewing pleasure.
We also have a Fourth of July Boat Parade,
usually involving over 30 boats.
Two years ago, the Colington ASSociation
made some new rules.
NO water balloon slingshots!
They actually withheld the Fourth of July Parade
in an effort, I guess, to punish the folks
who set off water balloons.
Bad people!
So, since that admonishment
and banning of the 4th of July Parade,
GUESS WHAT?
There's been a whole lot less participation
in a most anticipated event.
This is quite sad.
