Mr. Hawthorne Makes Venison Stew.

A friend brought us some deer meat a few weeks ago, and we crock-potted one of the roasts the other day. Very flavorful and not too gamy.
Mr. Hawthorne decided to take the leftovers and make Venison Stew. The boys love his stews.
I have to say Mr. Hawthorne tends to Semi-Ho it by using bouillon cubes. I'm still working on him about that, but I think it's useless. Here, he's cutting cutting carrots into the pot with already diced celery and potatoes. He used 3 beef bouillon cubes in 3 cups of water.
He added in a large can of chopped tomatoes, then cut up the deer meat.
We had some leftover baby corn in the fridge so that went into the pot, along with some lima beans and FROZEN peas.
Now, that's a spoonful of deliciousity.
After a taste test, he added in a small can of tomato sauce.
Serve with a baguette slice for a nice, hearty meal.
