We Are Teased With Snow.

I want the snow so bad. Look at the map. That ribbon, nay, BANNER, of snow. Everybody is getting snow. Just not me. All it had to do was go a little more EAST.
The snow map stops just short of me. CURSES!!!! I WANT SNOW! Yeah. That's me. Out in the damn ocean. When the weather pattern gets closer to the warmer sound and ocean waters, everything goes KAAAAA-POOOOOOT!!!! Snow clouds die. We get gray clouds and rain. Yucky.
I'm a kid at heart. I love snow more than anything else. Snow is grand. Snow is silent. Snow smells wonderful. From miles away, I can smell snow and I can smell the rain. Their smells are Electric... Do you know that some people can't smell rain or snow? I feel sad for them. Snow is delicate. Snow is magical. I remember my very first kiss. I think I was 17 or 18. It was underneath a street lamp at the top of a hill and it was snowing and we had been sledding in Ballou Park and that night and the next day the whole thing felt like it really didn't happen. Snow is magic. I want snow.

Check that ribbon again, your dreams may just come true.
And I have a question, does snow cause cravings for french toast? Why else would everyone buy milk, eggs, & bread?
We focus more on the liquid staples when threatening weather is predicted.

I wish I had snow!!! I had friends who moved to SC and their first winter when snow was predicted , they knew they needed emergency provisions, so they went to buy batteries, water, ice (what we buy in FL) and were suprised to find they needed milk, eggs, bread instead!! Hope you get snow ! !

hmmm I have a question. When the snow is pouring outside, what particular dish you are preparing for meal or you are craving for?

Kitchen Table, that's a good question. And the answer would be snow cream.

By the way, I clicked on your link and I want those timber-edged tables. Beautiful!

And Anonymous, we usually focus on liquid staples during hurricanes as well. Liquor stores are the first to close during those times, so we always take care of that. We like to stock up on the 4 basic food groups during emergencies: beer, wine, vodka, tonic.

"4 basic food groups..."

My students always knew that if the flakes started falling, class was essentially over, since I couldn't focus anymore. I just stood at the window with my nose pressed to the glass.

BTW, my word verification was "festiveth", which is what it will be around here pretty soon.
