I showed Mr Hawthorne the following picture.
Asked him what it was.
Anyone?
He was convinced it was of Pompeii.
(Personally, I was trying to steer him 
towards an Iraqi landscape.)
Naturally, I turned to my Go-To-Tome, Wackypedia
and looked up Pompeii.
And by golly,
Mr. Hawthorne is spot on.
I think he's on to something.
