Perplexing Parking Problem.

Parking continues to be a problem in my little cul-de-sac.

See the trailer to the left of my driveway?
That was just left in my yard. It's not attached to any vehicle. The owner, however, was nice enough to move my two trashcans out of the way so he could park there.

And yes, that is some random worker from the job site strolling on my property.

More good news. Dominion NC Power was at the job site today putting in a power line. I was watching their backhoe which was treacherously close to our fence.

Mr. H. and I went out and sure enough, our fence has been damaged. A mangled mess here.

It's kind of bowed out here.
There are several other places where it was damaged, but due to the lighting, I couldn't get pictures of them.

Anyhoos, Mr. Hawthorne called NC Power and put in a claim with them. Hopefully this will be taken care of in a timely fashion.

We talked to the owner/builder about the problem. He didn't seem to be overly concerned. Yeah, big surprise there.

Notice that all the dirt has been shoveled back from the fence. That's just happened since we went over there a few hours ago to complain. Before, I had about 10 inches of dirt up against the fence, bowing it out and spreading INto my yard.

My blood pressure is up.

  1. I can't believe how much trouble they are giving you. Hope you have better luck with the electric company than you are with the owner/builder.
