Daytime Pictures Of My New Plants.

It's been 24 hours and my plants are still alive.
It's very pretty with the sunlight coming through.

Thanks to Master Gardener Marilyn for identifying the plant on the far right as another dieffenbachia.

By the way, if you want to see some lovely snow pictures and read an interesting blog, go to Marilyn's:

Here's a daytime shot, without the glare of the flash (but with the glare of the sunlight through the windows), of Daughter Hawthorne's art work.

In case you're wondering how she did this, and Spoonie was, it's simply (or not so simple for me) black construction paper that she cut out. The white parts are the holes where she cut, and thus the mirror image of the black parts.

She's just the smartest thang on the block!

Youngest Hawthorne's newly painted bedroom.

With flash.

Without flash.

The actual color of the walls is somewhere in between these two.

Dixie had her b-a-t-h today.
I have to spell it because she get's too excited when she hears the word.
However, now she also knows how to spell it and runs barking to the bathroom when I get to the a.

During her bath, I put her towels in the dryer to get them nice and toasty.

Afterwards, she likes me to wrap her up in the warm towels so that just her nose is sticking out.

Then she takes a nap for about an hour.

After her bath and nap, Dixie always appreciates a good blow job.

She likes her fur back-brushed.
It makes her look like a fuzzy bear.

Oh, I think she's smiling here.

Dixie's loving this so much she's just about to pee in her fur.

The flash makes the paint look pink. Did you also paint the ceiling fan blades?
Awww, Dixie is soooo cute.

Didn't paint the fan blades. That's just the reflection from the walls.
