How do they come up with this KRAP?

ETA: As some of you have pointed out to me, Question #1 is a total bullshit answer. I agree with this, but, my question now is- amongst all these bullshit answers, how does one polish a turd to make it stand out?

Oh, that stuff is easy.
For question 1, you look at the college website and try to throw in the buzz phrases about how the "mention educational style here" teaching at the school will make you a better person, solve world hunger, and cure cancer.
Question 2 is all about talking about a "world view".
The application questions really are just a first introduction in to the skills you will loose later on in life of BS-ing and kissing up.
