Mr. Hawthorne made a wonderful turkey pot pie the other day to get rid of some of the turkey and disguise it in a way the Younger Hawthornes would like.
He made the crust from scratch and it really was delicious.
The man knows how to make biscuits.
Mine usually (but not always) turn out like hockey pucks.
I went to the fridge last night to see what I could clean out or organize.
I found the leftover pot pie.
Why would anyone put this back INto the refrigerator?
Nine carrot slices and seven peas.
I guess they were just being thoughtful.
