Sometimes You Just Crave A Hamburger.

Mr. Hawthorne grilled hamburgers tonight. We had a bunch of pattied out burgers in the freezer.
Here's my burger. With melted cheddar on top, red onion slices, pickles, Romaine lettuce, and ketchup.
And this is what we use as our hamburger buns now. Arnold's Whole Grain Sandwich Thins. Mr. Hawthorne calls them: "Satisfaction without the bulk. And they hold together better." What can I say, Ticky? I tried. And they're delicious.
Oh ... and Arnold's? In case you have Google Alerts set up to find mentions of Arnold's Whole Grain Sandwich Thins, and I'm sure you do, then please send me a case of this bread, or at least some coupons, and I'll blog away at the awesomeness of your product.

Ah, Rosie, I applaud you.

**clap, clap**

But my dearest amigo, your link doesn't match your product. You linked the 100% WW, but you bought partial WW. Check your label darlin'.

I just realized that.

But I tried.

Small steps.

I saw an ad for the sandwich thins the other day and wondered how they were. Thanks for reviewing them!

PS: When I first typed sandwich, it came out snadwich. I'll have to remember that one for the next time I see Snads make a sandwich! *snickers*

Hi Rosie...

Long time lurker. I love your blog. I had to delurk to tell you that I recently discovered the same sandwich thins this past weekend & I am in LOVE with them. We had burgers as well this past weekend & they were a huge hit. With regular burger buns, I would always scrape out the "guts" of the bun so I could taste meat vs. bread. A true win-win.

I have 2 requests for future posts. Stuffed Peppers & Sloppy Joes. Interested to see your variation on 2 classics.

Keep up the great work!
